Tôl Kônûl is the second planet of the Näkûrëgôf Rälkë planetary system, a large and dense gas giant surrounded by an exceptionally rich ring of meteoritic debris. Its massive atmosphere consists of deep layers of compressed gases, which allow the planet no surface in the classical sense; only a dark, dense core hides inside, under constant pressure.
The ring surrounding Tôl Kônûl is among the densest and most unpredictable in the known universe. It is made up of countless icy and rocky fragments of every size, which collide with one another and constantly rearrange themselves. This very density makes the ring a dangerous obstacle for any ship that attempts to fly too close to the planet.
Tôl Kônûl remains entirely uninhabited, its atmosphere unbreathable and its surface unreachable for landing. Within the system it acts as a mighty gravitational anchor, its presence shaping the orbits of nearby bodies, while its ring serves as a natural, if perilous, barrier between the inner and outer parts of Näkûrëgôf Rälkë.
