Nûvëlänmôv Rälkë lies seven jumps northeast of the home system of the Savrös Empire, beyond the circle around R01 that has been charted so far. Only two planets orbit the star Nûvëlänmôv, both at a safe distance from it, on one and the same orbit, exactly opposite each other. They travel at precisely the same speed, so they can never collide, nor even catch sight of one another, a unique phenomenon in which the Savrös see a symbol of mutual balance: two sibling worlds that share a single orbit forever without ever meeting.

The system is administered by the Savrös Empire, and colonization is concentrated chiefly on the planet Tôl Lümûnäs, home to the capital city Näsû Läkivën, the administrative and civilizational center of the entire system. Despite its remoteness, Nûvëlänmôv Rälkë thus remains a firm part of the Savrös frontier, a bridge between the home system and the still uncharted space beyond its borders.
